Are your paintings originals or prints?
I currently only offer originals.

How can I purchase an original painting?
You can find available original paintings here. I release new work on my website throughout the year. You can sign up for my newsletter or follow me on Instagram for updates.

Are your paintings framed?
The paintings in “The Art of Living” collection will be delivered unframed. For the “Fields of Love” collection, you can choose to receive your painting unframed or framed in a beautiful oak or walnut floater frame. I highly recommend framing a painting. Not only does it look beautifully framed, but it will also protect the painting from dust.

What kind of frame do you recommend?
I recommend a solid wooden floater frame. A floater frame provides extra space around the painting and makes it seem like the painting is "floating". It depends on the painting and your interior, but I would choose an oak, walnut, cream (matte), white (matte), or black (matte) floater frame for my paintings.

Where should I frame my painting?
I recommend finding a local frame shop. They are most likely specialists and thus able to create a beautifully designed and custom frame for your painting.

Are your paintings ready to hang?
Yes! All paintings arrive ready to hang.

Are your paintings varnished?
Yes, all my paintings are varnished.

When do you release new paintings?
I release new paintings on my website throughout the year. You can check my website and/or sign up for my newsletter on the homepage (bottom) to receive updates and news. You can also follow me on Instagram.

How accurate are the colours of the paintings in the photos?
I try my best to represent the colours of paintings as clearly as possible. However, each computer and telephone screen shows colours differently. Therefore, the colours on your screen may be slightly different from reality.

Can I commission a painting?
Yes! I am currently available for large-size art commissions. You can find more information here.

I would like to see your paintings in person, is that possible?
I currently only offer my work online. I don't have an open atelier and I don't showcase my art at a gallery.

Do you offer worldwide shipping and what is the cost?
Yes, I offer worldwide shipping. The cost of shipping will be calculated at check-out. If you are interested in a painting and you live outside Europe, or the USA please send an email to studio@francesibink.com so that I can provide you with more information on shipping to your country. All paintings will be shipped from the Netherlands. Please note, that for international shipping, border fees, duties, and handling fees may be charged. I cannot control or predict these charges. You, as a buyer, are fully responsible for these additional charges.

I am interested in a painting but I live outside Europe and the USA, what should I do?
Thank you for your interest in one of my paintings! Please, send an email to studio@francesibink.com so that I can provide you with more information on shipping to your country.

Are duties, taxes, handling fees, etc. included?
No. For international shipping, border fees, duties, and handling fees may be charged. I cannot predict these fees. You, as a buyer, are responsible for these additional charges.

How are paintings shipped?
It depends on the size of the painting and destination, but most paintings are shipped in a custom-made wooden crate. The crate protects the painting to make sure it arrives safely.

What is your order processing time?
In each product listing, you can find the order processing time for that particular painting. Sometimes an oil painting still needs time to dry before it can be framed and shipped and, therefore, the processing time is longer. In addition, I depend on the availability of the framer and the company that builds a crate for shipping.

How long does shipping take?
Shipping takes between 1-2 weeks, depending on your location.

Can I track and trace my parcel?
Yes! I will send you a track and trace code.

Which payment methods do you accept?
Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, iDeal, and American Express.

Is paying through your website safe?
Yes, paying through francesibink.com is safe. This website is built in Squarespace and Stripe is used to process payments.

Who actually owns the painting?
You, as a buyer, have the right to display the painting in your home or business, but you may not resell or reproduce the painting in any way without my written permission. I, Frances Ibink, retain all rights to all created artwork, this also includes the rights to the images of sold paintings. I also retain the right to create and sell prints of original paintings, including art commissions.

What is your return and cancellation policy?
All sales are final. Cancellations, exchanges, and refunds are not available.

My painting got damaged after delivery, what should I do?
I am not responsible for any damages incurred after delivery. However, please send an email to studio@francesibink.com if a problem has occurred so that we can find out if and how the damages can be fixed.
